I don't know about you, but with Halloween right around the corner, those spooky Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercials have really been freaking my diet out. Thankfully I spotted my friend Blaise on the Miracle Mile at lunch time, holding the cutest mini cupcake I ever did see topped with none other than half a mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I couldn't say no.
The Frosting is creamy – not too thick, sweet, or salty – and invites you to keep on biting. The Chocolate Cake is a teensy bit dry. And the Peanut Butter surprise inside makes you wish you bought that $2 glass of milk, or that you didn't inhale it in 3 seconds flat (like I did).
Overall, the "Nutty Butter" Cupcake totally satiated my Peanut Butter Cup craving – enough so that hopefully I won't be fighting kids tooth 'n nail over the Halloween candy bowl.
