This Thursday, February 5th, marks the last day you'll be able to dine at Zengo, a Latin-Asian fusion restaurant at Santa Monica Place mall.
They have a great Happy Hour from 4-7pm with prices that match the time, as well as my all time favorite All You Can Eat Endless Cocktail Brunch to be enjoyed on their rooftop patio or modern industrial interior.
Sadly, they'll be closing their doors to make way for the Cheesecake Factory chain. Here's what to order on their last night.
The Grubdown:
- hot saucey, smokey, crunchy 'n meaty Grilled Salmon with Sauteed Mushrooms, Bacon & Achiote Ponzu
- more-than-expected, spicy, crispy fresh Chipotle Yellowfin Tuna Roll with Wasabi Tobiko, Avocado, Cucumber & Sesame-Chipotle Rouille
- husky 'n grainy breading, kinda chewy, yet plump Yucca Fries with Lemon Togarishi Aioli & Miso Mustard Dipping Sauces
