If you haven't been to Zinque yet, you're missing out.
The French cuisine 'c'est magnifique', the atmosphere is rustic & cozy, and the views of Newport Bay from the newly revamped Lido Marina Village are breathtaking.
Which is why this Bastille Day, you should do as the French do, and take a long lunch, whilst sippin' Rose and listening to the live Jazz Band outside. (If indoors is what you prefer, they have a long Coffee Bar and cozy fireside seating, too).
The Grubdown:
- creamy, oozy, cheesy goodness, Croque Monsieur with Mixed Lettuces $13
- pure greens with a spicy kick, Broccoli, Spinach & Green Curry Soup $9
- slim with a nice crunch, French Fries with Red Pepper Aioli & Ketchup $5
- flaky 'n buttery, but not as warm and gooey as I'd hoped for, Chocolate Croissant $3.75
- frothy artful perfection, Small Latte
Happy Bastille Day!
